Should be "Queenie"? Queenie is buried at the Timor cemetery with her brother. |

Queenie is my 2nd cousin, twice removed |
Seeing Queenie and Clarence on one stone reminds me of my sweet grandaunt Lillie. She never married and it bothered her. So she wanted to be buried beside her brother who had divorced. That way people would think they were a married couple. Sad, isn't it? And sure enough, I saw on Findagrave where someone had them listed as husband and wife. I sent in a correction. Anyway, I suppose people looking at this little stone will think Queenie and Clarence were a "couple" too.
ReplyDeletePoor Clarence was only 3 years old.
DeleteWeren't you lucky to find a Queen for your Q post.
ReplyDeletePhew! I would have had to go off topic otherwise :)
