Thomas Congdon Bound was born on the 24th November 1867 at Hurlands, St Pinnock, Cornwall, England.  He is the sixth of the eleven children of William and Amelia Jane Bound (nee Congdon).

After the death of his father on the 19th September 1877, the family immigrated to Australia on the 21st September 1878.

Tom married Sarah Jane Sanders in 1915 and he died in Mildura on the 10th July 1947,

  2. I'd never heard of the word Genogram.I produce them reegularly to show cousins how we are related (great for DNA matches) but I didn't know that word.

    1. Maybe I am using the word in the wrong context as I just have names. I think a true Genogram also shows other linkages such as health and social issues (my son is studying social work and that is the term that he uses when he sees me drawing family relationship charts and I feel the term is very fitting :)

  4. I have seen chairs like that in studio shots and this does look like it was shot in a studio. I don't think it would be comfy to sit in for long periods.
    They must have been very busy during that year getting ready to move. Did they have family members already in Australia?
